Ever thought about embarking on a challenging bike trip? Now's the time to hit the road with a supportive crew and contribute something profound to the fight against HIV/AIDS at the same time. Participate in the first annual Tour de Friends, the four-day, 330-mile bike ride from Raleigh to Washington, D.C. The event will take place June 19-22 and will benefit three HIV/AIDS and health service organizations, including Raleigh-Durham's Alliance of AIDS Services-Carolina. Even if you're not the athletic type, you can still be involved in Tour de Friends as a Tour Corps member or as a volunteer. In the organizers' own words: "It's the test of a lifetime. But then, isn't waking up everyday and living with a life-threatening disease a lot like that, too?"
